Its just the beginning...

Here is a quick run down of the arrival of the Twins. I was scheduled for a c-section on March 26th...It was around 1:30pm on March 25th I just ate lunch and was wrapping things up with work. I was working from home for one more day, my last day in the office was the day before. Anyway, I just went to the potty and than made my way back to the recliner when I thought my water broke... I wasn't sure since it wasn't a whole lot of fluid, so I called the doctor and was going in to have him check. Made my way upstairs and got cleaned up came back downstairs and than the gush happened... i knew for sure it was the real thing cause the flood gates opened up :)
Of course we still went to the dr since its on the way to hospital to have him check... and than it was off to the hospital. Since I had just eaten they were wanting to schedule my c-section for around 10pm that night... well that wasn't happening... I had some contractions on my way to the hospital not too bad but once I was all settled my room things started moving very fast. My contractions became very strong and close together... The nurse checked to see if I was dilated and i was 2cm... about 30 minutes later the nurse checked again cause my contractions were a minute or apart and super strong... Mind you I was experiencing this with NO Drugs!!!! When she checked at that time I was already 5cm... pretty much I was delivering these babies pretty soon if they didn't get the c-section going...
So it was off to the operating room... It was just liked I imagined it would be like. I have seen a ton of baby shows and I knew just what to expect from the c-section. It was so amazing to hear their little cries for the first time...
